Atlanta Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll was walking with a noticeable limp in the locker room following his team's win in Game 4 over the Washington Wizards. Carroll suffered what he called a hip pointer while trying to fight around a screen by Nene on Paul Pierce's game-tying event.
WSB's Zach Klein was all over the situation following the game:

Here is the play in question with Carroll ending up at the feet of Pierce. No foul was called on the play.

Game 5 is not until Wednesday so Carroll will likely receive treatment throughout the day on Tuesday. If he can walk then he will likely play in Game 5, but it is something to keep an eye on as this series continues to play out. Carroll has been instrumental to Atlanta's success so far in the postseason leading the team in scoring and three-point shooting. Its on the defensive end of the floor where DeMarre's value is highest and the Hawks have precious few options behind him following the injury to Thabo Sefolosha.
We will pass along further updates as they become available.
