Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap left Saturday's game during the second quarter with an apparent shoulder injury. Millsap was injured when he collided with Brooklyn's Earl Clark while chasing down a loose ball.
Millsap was helped to his feet by trainer Wally Blase and made his way to the bench area. He headed to the locker room area shortly before halftime. Millsap did not come out for the second half and was later declared out for the remainder of the game by the Hawks. Mike Muscala the second half in place of Millsap.
UPDATE
There were no additional updates in regards to Millsap's status following the game. Head coach Mike Budenholzer told the media that Millsap did suffer a right shoulder injury but would be re-evaluated on Sunday or Monday.
No additional update from Budenholzer on Millsap's injury. Will be re-evaluated tomorrow and Monday.
