Eddie has had a solid season with the Austin Spurs averaging 12 points per game while shooting 42 percent from three-point range. The signing makes a lot of sense given that he spent training camp with the Hawks and has a familiarity with the team's system. Eddie averaged 13.1 minutes in three preseason games with Atlanta this season.
Eddie will serve as added depth on the wing while the Hawks await the return of Thabo Sefolosha from a calf injury.
