The Atlanta Hawks look to equal the franchise record for wins Tuesday night when they finish off a four-games in five-nights stretch against the Detroit Pistons. Atlanta has finished with 57 wins twice in franchise history. The first coming during the 1987 season and the last occurring in 1994. With seven games remaining after Tuesday's game, there is a good chance that the record will fall this season.

Who plays for Atlanta on Tuesday has yet to be determined but it is certain that back up point guard Dennis Schroder will not. Schroder suffered a toe injury during the second quarter of Monday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks. He left the game and did not return. He stayed behind in Atlanta and will have the toe re-evaluated on Tuesday.

All of Atlanta's starters returned to the lineup on Monday including point guard Jeff Teague who had missed the last two games with an ankle injury. Budenholzer elected to rest all of his starters in Saturday's loss to the Charlotte Hornets one day after the Hawks clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. Budenholzer didn't say how he would play things on Tuesday but there seems to be a good chance that some of Atlanta's regulars could get another night off against the Pistons.

Atlanta has taken all three meetings between the two teams this season with the last coming on January 9 in Detroit to snap a seven-game winning streak for the Pistons. Detroit's lineup will have a different look to it this time around after making a trade deadline deal for point guard Reggie Jackson.

Jackson struggled a bit early on after the trade but he has gotten himself together lately averaging 22.6 points and 11.4 assists over his last seven games. The Pistons will likely be without forward Greg Monroe who has missed the last seven games with a knee injury. He is officially listed as questionable but word is that the Pistons are considering shutting him down for the remainder of the season.
