Austin Daye's 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks ends Tuesday but while no final decision has been made, all signs are pointing him getting a second 10-day deal according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore.

By rule, the Hawks can sign Daye to a maximum of two 10-day contracts. At the end of the second, they must decide whether to keep him for the remainder of the season or cur him loose.
Daye was signed to add depth to the frontcourt after Mike Scott was lost to a toe injury. He has seen garbage time minutes in two games while with Atlanta playing a total of nine minutes and scoring three points. With Scott still on the mend, it might not be a bad idea to keep Daye around a bit longer.
According to Vivlamore, the Atlanta Hawks will in fact sign Daye to a second 10-day contract on Wednesday.
