Kyle Korver injury: Hawks guard leaves game with broken nose

Kyle Korver left Sunday's game in the second quarter with a broken nose and won't return.

The Atlanta Hawks opted to rest three starters for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers and lost another early in the second quarter. Kyle Korver crashed into an Ed Davis screen early in the second quarter and suffered a broken nose. Korver immediately left the court and headed to the locker room and was later declared out for the remainder of the contest.

Korver missed all three of his shot attempts and his 51-game streak with at least one made three-pointer will come to an end.

With Korver out for the rest of the evening, an already short bench becomes even shorter. Shelvin Mack will likely see more minutes along with John Jenkins. Korver was already scheduled to sit out Monday's game in Sacramento.
