The Atlanta Hawks are sending center Mike Muscala to the D-League for what reportedly will be a one-game stint for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants according to a report by Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Hawks have used the D-League throughout the season as a tool for getting their young players on the court. Muscala has seen limited playing time over the last couple of weeks and this will provide him an opportunity to knock some of the rust off and get some in game action. It does not mean that changes to the rotation are on the horizon. Adreian Payne could be in line for another assignment in the near future. According to Vivlamore, Muscala is expected to rejoin the Hawks in Memphis on Sunday.
