A noisy trade deadline has come and gone with the Atlanta Hawks standing pat at least for now. It was always a long shot that Atlanta would make any major roster changing moves. Reports suggested that John Jenkins was available but after a 43-11 start, Atlanta was reluctant to do anything major.

That doesn't mean that Atlanta's roster is set. The Hawks are among several teams interested in guard Gary Neal should he secure a buyout from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Neal has ties to Mike Budenholzer from his days in San Antonio and Atlanta would be one of the front runners should he become a free agent.
Atlanta has also been mentioned as being among the suitors for Ray Allen who has still yet to make a decision on whether or not he will play this season.
