It has been a quiet deadline for the Atlanta Hawks so far but CBSSports.com's Ken Berger reports that they are among 4-5 playoff teams that are interested in Minnesota guard Gary Neal.
Hawks remain among 4-5 playoff teams pursuing trade for Gary Neal, sources say. Neal and coach Mike Budenholzer have history with Spurs.

The Timberwolves were reportedly asking for a second round pick for Neal. Teams may be reluctant to go that route since it is expected that he will pursue a buyout if he is not traded.
If Neal isn't traded, or if he's dealt to a non-playoff team, his agent, David Bauman, will pursue a buyout, source says.

The Hawks have an open roster spot and plenty of cap room to add an additional free agent. They have also reportedly made John Jenkins available if they needed additional roster space.
