When Paul Millsap limped to the sideline and eventually into the locker room on Monday evening at Philips Arena, fans of the Atlanta Hawks held their collective breath. Fortunately, Millsap's ankle injury was not of the severe variety, to the point where he was actually able to return to action on that same night.
On Wednesday, even more positive news emerged, as Millsap took the floor for shootaround in advance of Wednesday's game against the Detroit Pistons.

This revelation sets the stage for Millsap to play, and Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Millsap will indeed start. The Hawks are traditionally careful with rushing their players back from any injury issue, and with two additional days off before another home game on Dec. 26, there would be little incentive to push Millsap into the lineup in this spot. That, in turn, makes this news even more pleasing, and he appears ready to go without limitation.
