Christmas is right around the corner, and purchasing a new pair of kicks is the best way to ensure a 'Merry Christmas' for your favorite basketball loving human.  Don't worry, I made it easy for you, a list of some of the best and most popular kicks is below.

Kyrie 2 ($120)

The Kyrie 2 is Nike's newest sneaker.  This shoe is built for performance and is geared towards players that like to cut and drive towards the basket.

KD 8 ($180)

The KD 8 is the latest version of Kevin's main sneaker line.  Durant has two other lines that are worth checking out.  The latest kicks in these lines are the KD Trey 5 III, and KD 8 Lifestyle

LeBron XIII ($200)

The LeBron XIII are LeBron's best shoes to date. They are shaped similar to the LeBron Solider 8, but have innovative technology from LeBron's main sneaker line.

Kobe X Elite ($200-225)

The Kobe X Elite comes in a high and a low version.  The high version is priced higher due to extra material.  A Kobe XI has been shown by Nike and is soon to be released.

Nike's most popular non-signature sneaker is the Hyperdunk 2015 ($140).  From the Atlanta Hawks, Al Horford sports these kicks.

CP3.IX ($115)

The CP3.IX is a well priced shoe, especially considering that it is Paul's 9 version in this line.  This is a lightweight shoe geared towards outside players.

Melo 11 ($160)

The Melo 11 has been out for a while, but it is the most stylish shoe currently on the market.

Other Jordan shoes that are worth looking at are the Super.Fly 4 ($150), and the XX9 Low ($185).  These shoes are currently worn by Blake Griffin and Russell Westbrook.

D Lillard 1 ($105)

The D Lillard 1 is priced fairly, but is on the older end of Adidas's available sneakers.  Some colorways of the D Lillard 1 are currently marked down on Adidas's website.  Recently Damian Lillard wore his second version of his shoes, and a limited amount is expect to release on December 26th.

J Wall 2.0 ($115)

The J Wall 2 released earlier this year and it is a good shoe for guard-type players.  These sneakers are much more stylish than Wall's previous version.

D Rose 6 Boost ($140)

The most exciting feature about the D Rose 6 Boost is the elastic that surrounds the heel.  Other Adidas D Rose sneakers include the D Rose 773 and D Rose Lakeshore Boost.

Another good Adidas shoe that is not a signature sneaker is the 2015 Crazylight Boost Primeknit ($130).

Stephen Curry

Under Armour Curry 2: This shoe was released in October of 2015.  The Curry 2 ranks high in flexibility and support.  It is Under Armour's best basketball shoe.  If you want to play like the reigning MVP, these may help.
