Fantasy Basketball: Week Three Waiver Wire Options: It's Kent Bazemore Time!

Phil offers seven Fantasy Basketball waiver wire options for Fantasy Basketball owners needing help this week.

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Week three of the Fantasy Basketball season begins Monday November 9, 2015. I think it's a little soon to shred your roster of any underperforming players but if you are so inclined I have seven waiver wire options for you to consider this week.

Teams playing 4 games this week include Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Golden State, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis, New Orleans, NY Knicks, Orlando, Philadelphia, Portland, Sacramento and Utah.

Teams with two games this week are Chicago, Miami, Phoenix and Washington.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are the only team with five  games this week.

Week Three Waiver Wire Options

Mason Plumlee PF C Portland Trail Blazers: Plumlee is becoming a fan favorite in Portland and perhaps it's the 10 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2 assists plus a block and a steal per night over his past 5 games. Maybe it's the season long 17.5 PER but Fantasy Basketball owners will like the 25 minutes a night he's averaging, the 4 games Portland has this week and he's still available in 50 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

Gorgui Dieng PF C Minnesota Timberwolves: Dieng is starting to get it going after a slow start with double digit points in each of his last 2 games. He's currently averaging just over 20 minutes a night with decent shooting percentage from the floor (43 %) and is shooting 80 percent from the line. He'll grab some boards and of course he's usually good for a block or two a night. The Timberwolves have 5 games this week and Dieng is currently available in just over 50 percent of Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

Kent Bazemore SG SF Atlanta Hawks: Hawks fans are thrilled with the way Bazemore has started the season and with good reason; over the past 5 games Bazemore is averaging 12 points a night that includes 2 triples per ballgame. He's also contributing with 4.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and nearly 2 steals a night. Bazemore's shooting percentages are very good and with 4 games this week the over 60 percent available Bazemore might be a good add this week.

Rodney Hood SG SF Utah Jazz: Three pointers are the name of the game where Hood is concerned and over his last 5 games he's knocked down 6 of them but more importantly he attempted 40 of them. He's got the green light there in Utah and if he keeps getting his usual 25 minutes a night he'll absolutely help you in threes, points and on some nights multiple steals could be in the cards like the 4 he snatched last week against Indiana. Hood is available in over 65 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues and with Utah having 4 games this week you might want to add him.

Jae Crowder SF Boston Celtics: Over his past 5 games Crowder is averaging 25 minutes a night and is scoring (9.0) and hitting about 1 triple a night. He's also averaging 2.2 steals and 4.4 rebounds a night and seems to be becoming a mini Nicolas Batum the way he's stuffing the stat sheet. Crowder also has solid shooting percentages plus 4 games this week to do his thing and is currently available in over 75 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball Leagues.

Darren Collison PG Sacramento Kings: Collison has moved into the starting lineup and over his past 5 games is averaging 30 minutes a night and is scoring points (14.6) and dropping dimes (4.5) as well as hitting the occasional triple and a steal or two a night. His shooting percentages are solid from both the field (45 %) and line (70%). The Kings have 4 games this week and Collison is available in just over 50 percent of all Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

Nik Stauskas SG Philadelphia 76ers: Stauskas is averaging nearly 30 minutes a night for the 76ers and that kid sure isn't afraid to launch shots. He's launched 35 of them over his last three games and is averaging 13.7 points a night and almost 3 triples per contest. He'll drop about 3 dimes a night, grab about 5 rebounds a game and while his shooting percentage from the floor is a killer he is shooting 90 percent from the line. The 76ers have 4 games this week and Stauskas is currently available in over 80 percent of Major Fantasy Basketball leagues.

Good luck this week Fantasy Basketball Owner!
