Hardaway checked into the game with 59.4 seconds remaining in the first quarter and played a five-minute stint into the first half. He returned to the game late in the third quarter and again after the Hawks had broken the game open.
Hardaway ended the night with three points going 1 for 3 from the field in just over 12 minutes of work. The most important take away from his appearance, however, is that he is finally getting a shot and it is up to him to make the most of it.
"I thought he was good," Mike Budenholzer replied when asked bout Hardaway's performance following the game. "There were a couple of defensive plays that stand out to me where he was early to his rotation and his assignment as bottom weak side defender. I thought he competed and hit a shot and it was good to see him out there. He's been working hard in practice."
