Jazz vs Hawks preview: Atlanta faces Utah looking to avoid back-to-back losses

New, comment

The Hawks host the Jazz on a rare Sunday evening contest at Philips Arena.

Chris Nicoll-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz are both looking for bounce-back wins on Sunday evening, but if anything, Utah may need this one more. The Jazz have lost three consecutive games after a strong start, and while Atlanta scuffled on the way to a loss on Friday, the Hawks hold a larger margin of error given their place in the Eastern Conference.

If you missed our extensive game preview with Amar of SLC Dunk, feel free to check that out for additional perspective. In terms of specifics, everyone on the Atlanta roster appears to available for this game given that it is not a back-to-back, but the exception to that rule could be Mike Budenholzerwho announced something of a leave of absence as his wife deals with a health issue.

Sunday afternoons and evenings in November are normally reserved for the NFL in the minds of many, but a high-quality NBA game is set to take place at Philips Arena, and we will be here to guide the way. Stay tuned.
