Although Derrick Rose continues to be sidelined with injuries, Adidas continues to innovate and sell Rose's sneaker lines. The Adidas D Rose 6 Boost 'Home' colorway releases today (October 15), and is the first release of this shoe. The 'Road' colorway is expected to come out November 5, 2015. The D Rose 6 can currently be customized on Adidas's website. Here's a closer look at the Adidas D Rose 6.
Performance
Derrick's shoes rank high in performance. They are built with Adidas's Boost technology, which supplies enhanced responsiveness. The heel is built with FITFRAME Technology and features elastic straps that surround the ankle and provide customized tightening. The 6's remind of Rose's previous signature the Adizero D Rose 2.
Style
The D Rose 6 also functions well when worn causally. The straps are able to relax without getting in the way, and they have a nice clean look. However, if you're looking for something causal and are willing to spend $140, I would look for a signature from an athlete who actually plays in games.
Overall Opinion
If you're superstitious Derrick's shoes aren't for you. Excluding superstition, there is no reason to believe that these shoes won't perform well on and off of the court. From the boost technology to the innovation on the heel these shoes are fantastic for game play.
However, I'm not so sure his new hair cut is fantastic. At first glance, I thought he was Jimmy Neutron. Perhaps he is just trying to distract us from his broken face.
