The Atlanta Hawks wrap up their three-game western road trip Monday night with a matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. Atlanta won the first two stops on the trip sweeping a back-to-back against Utah and Portland.

Atlanta has won 18 of its last 20 games and has climbed into first place in the Eastern Conference. They have passed every test put before them including six straight wins on the road. The Hawks shook off fatigue on Saturday and became the first Eastern Conference team to defeat the Trail Blazers at home this season. Paul Millsap finished with 27 points while Jeff Teague continued his string of stellar performances.

The Clippers are enjoying a good stretch of their won having won three straight and six of their last 10. They are 15-4 at Staples Center this season and are coming off a 127-91 blowout win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. Chris Paul finished with a near triple-double against the Sixers finishing with 24 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds in 30 minutes.

Atlanta won the previous meeting between the two teams 107-104 at Philips Arena on December 23. The Hawks came roaring back in the second half and were able to hang on down the stretch. DeMarre Carroll knocked down five three-pointers on his way to 25 points. Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 21 points but his desperation three as time expired missed giving the Hawks the victory.

Jeff Teague scored nine points in 24 minutes in the earlier meeting with the Clippers in his first game back from a hamstring injury. Teague came off the bench for the first time this season but is back to 100 percent and playing some of his best basketball of the season. During Atlanta's current four-game winning streak, Teague is averaging 24 points and eight assists while shooting 53 percent from the field.
