ESPN announced some changes to its upcoming NBA television schedule on Saturday. The world wide leader was originally scheduled to televise the Atlanta Hawks matchup against the Boston Celtics January 14 but that game has been dropped. ESPN will televise the Wizards-Bulls matchup instead.
However, ESPN picked up Atlanta's game on January 28 against the Brooklyn Nets. To make room on the broadcast the network dropped the Thunder-Knicks matchup.
In addition to January 28, the Hawks will also be on ESPN on January 19 for the MLK Day matinee against the Detroit Pistons. Atlanta's February 2 matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans is scheduled to be broadcast on NBATV.
Atlanta still has two games remaining that won't be carried on local TV. Neither the Sunday, January 11 matchup against the Washington Wizards nor the January 14 matchup against the Celtics are currently scheduled to be broadcast locally.
