For his incredible three-game performance, Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

Al Horford has been incredibly good in recent days, and on Monday, he was handsomely rewarded for his efforts. Horford was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week, as he helped lead the Atlanta Hawks to an undefeated mark against quality competition.

In three games (Horford sat out against the Boston Celtics for rest purposes), the 28-year-old big man averaged 21.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. However, the raw statistical production was not the most impressive part of Horford's performance, as he shot an obscene 84.4% (27-32) from the floor during the week.

As Al Horford has rounded into form following his surgery from last season, the Atlanta Hawks have taken off, and he is their defensive anchor in addition to being a dynamic and versatile offensive player. Congrats, Al!
