RealGM's Shams Charania reports that former Virginia Tech forward Jarell Eddie has agreed to a training camp deal with the Atlanta Hawks.

Eddie is a 6-7 forward who averaged 13.1 points and 5.2 rebounds as a senior for the Hokies. He did most of his work from the perimeter in 2014 and knocked down 37.6 percent of his three-point attempts.
Eddie went undrafted this summer despite working out for several teams including the Los Angeles Clippers and the Washington Wizards.nce the deals for Elton Brand and Kent Bazemore are formally announced, Atlanta will have 15 players under contract for this season. They will still likely bring in a few more players for camp but the roster as it stands currently appears to be set to open the season.
