With the fateful audio of Danny Ferry's comments surrounding Luol Deng now up for public consumption, the great majority of chatter about his remarks has shifted away from whether or not the Atlanta Hawks general manager was (or was not) reading from an actual scouting report. However, WSB-TV and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution have unearthed the infamous scouting report that was referenced from the very beginning, and Zach Klein provides a small excerpt here:
Comment in Deng report "He's a good guy on the cover but he's an African. He has a little two-step in him=says what you like to hear, (1/2)

2/2 ".. But behind closed doors he could be killing you. Com isn't bad, but it's there."
— Zach Klein (@ZachKleinWSB) September 12, 2014
This finding lends a bit of credence to those still defending Danny Ferry based on an assumption that he was "reading a report", but on the other side of things, there is an argument that Ferry certainly needed the presence of mind to edit this kind of thinking from public consumption. Regardless of where you stand on that divide, the existence of the scouting report itself throws yet another wrench into the situation.
There will undoubtedly be more to come when the full transcript is available, but for now, this provides another point of contention.
Update:
WSB has posted the full transcription of the Luol Deng scouting report.
