Dennis Schröder turned in another good performance on Wednesday but it wasn't enough to lift Germany to a win as they fell to 2-2 with an 88-76 loss to Poland.
Schröder tied for the team lead with 20 points and seven assists. He hit on 7-13 field goal attempts including 4-6 from three-point range. He came off the bench for the second straight game but logged 32 minutes. Daniel Theis also finished with 20 points for Germany. Mateusz Ponitka led Poland with 19 points.
Germany falls to 2-2 for the tournament and are a game behind both Poland and Austria with two games left to play. The top two finishers in the group will advance to the next round. Germany defeated Austria and Luxembourg in the first meeting and will need wins again to have a chance at advancing. Germany will take on Austria on Sunday and then wrap up group play on Wednesday against Luxembourg.
