USA Basketball's preparations for the FIBA World Cup began again on Thursday in Chicago. The will practice again on Friday before hosting Brazil in an exhibition matchup on Saturday.
Atlanta's Kyle Korver is among the players still vying for a spot on the final roster. USA Basketball recently added Rudy Gay to the mix in wake of Paul George's injury and Kevin Durant's withdrawal. The team had another scare on Thursday as center DeMarcus Cousins limped off the court after banging knees with Kenneth Faried. Cousins had an MRI on the knee but the results were negative and he is listed as day-to-day.
