Second-year guard Dennis Schröder helped Germany to a 77-64 win over Austria to even their record at 1-1 in the second-round of Eurobasket qualifying.

Schröder went 5-7 from the floor and finished with 13 points, three assists, five turnovers and a steal. However, it was Germany's bench that sparked the unit to the victory. Maximilian Kleber scored a team-high 20 points including four made threes while Maik Zirbes added 17. Germany trailed for most of the game before outscoring Austria 29-9 in the fourth quarter.

The win evens Germany's record at 1-1 and ties them for second place in Group C behind Poland who is 2-0. Teams will play each other twice and the top two finishers in the group will advance to the next round of qualifying.

In two games, Schröder is averaging 14.5 points and four assists but has turned the ball over 10 times. He is shooting 61 percent from the floor and is 3-8 from three-point range.
