Shelvin Mack agrees to 3-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a three-year deal with restricted free agent Shelvin Mack.

Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a three-year, $7.3 million deal with restricted free agent Shelvin Mack.

Mack confirmed the move via his Twitter account

Exact terms of the contract aren't available but Wojnarowksi also reports that the deal includes a team option on the third year. We will pass along additional details as they become available.

Mack came to camp last season with an unguaranteed deal and wrestled away the back up point guard position from rookie Dennis Schroder. He appeared in a career-high 73 games for the Hawks last season while averaging 7.5 points and 3.7 assists per game.
