Former Atlanta Hawks' wing Cartier Martin has agreed to a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons per a report from Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Free agent Cartier Martin has reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

Martin was an unrestricted free agent after finishing the 2014 season with the Hawks. Martin was a late addition to the roster in training camp last season. Atlanta cut him in January before his contract became guaranteed. He then signed a pair of 10-day contracts with the Chicago Bulls before returning to Atlanta for the remainder of the season. Martin appeared in 53 games with the Hawks and averaged 5.9 points while making 38 percent of his three-point attempts.
Martin has always been a guy that has had to fight for his roster spot so its good to see him go into a season with just a little bit of security this time around.
