The Atlanta Hawks have given Mike Scott a qualifying offer per ShamSports.com's Mark Deeks. The move makes Scott a restricted free agent and gives the Hawks the ability to match any offer he receives.
Mike Scott also officially got his QO from Atlanta, which is not a surprise.

Scott's qualifying offer is worth $1,115,243 and can be rescinded anytime. The Hawks also issued a qualifying offer to Shelvin Mack earlier this evening. The Hawks had until midnight to issue a qualifying offer or Scott would have become an unrestricted free agent.
Scott had a breakout season in 2014 after going to training camp with an unguaranteed deal. He emerged as a key piece off the bench. He appeared in 80 games while averaging 9.6 points in just over 18 minutes per game. Atlanta drafted Scott in the second round of the 2012 Draft out of Virginia.
