While the upcoming free agency period is the biggest story, the Atlanta Hawks' summer league roster continues to take shape. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported over the weekend the additions of a number of players to the Hawks roster.
Eric Dawson was the last cut from training camp last season and will be back for another stint at the Vegas Summer League. He is a 6-9 power forward who has plenty of experience at the D-League and international levels. Once he was cut from camp he signed with the Austin Toros of the NBA D-League and then eventually made his way to China.
Other names include UCLA Forward/Center Travis Wear, Alabama point guard Trevor Releford, and former Miami (Ohio) wing Michael Bramos who played this past season in Greece.
Florida's Casey Prather and Saint Mary's Stephen Holt will also be part of the roster. Current Hawks expected to compete are John Jenkins, Dennis Schroder, Mike Muscala, Adreian Payne, Lamar Patterson and possibly Walter Tavares.
