The Atlanta Hawks are set to take on the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night at Philips Arena, and fortunately, it looks as if they will have the services of their best player, Paul Millsap.
Millsap will play and start vs. Pistons. Thumb still sore. #ATLHawks

Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Mike Budenholzer said that Millsap will be in the lineup despite lingering thumb issues that caused him to leave Sunday's win in Indiana. It has been referred to as a "contusion", but with the playoffs on the line on a nightly basis, it appears as if Millsap is ready to roll against the beefy Detroit front line.
Unfortunately, Lou Williams is not so fortunate.
CMB says Lou Williams is unavailable. #ATLHawks

Williams will be out of the lineup for the second consecutive game, as he was absent against the Pacers and will miss Tuesday's game as a result of a left hamstring issue. In his stead, look for Atlanta to rely heavily on Shelvin Mack and Dennis Schröder, and it is possible that both Kyle Korver and DeMarre Carroll could see an uptick in playing time.
Stay tuned for updates as they arise before tip-off.
