Estudiantes suffered a tough 71-64 loss to undefeated Real Madrid on Sunday in Spanish ACB play but Atlanta Hawks draft pick Lucas Nogueira turned in another solid performance.

Nogueira started and played 23 minutes against Real Madrid and finished with 10 points, four rebounds and four blocked shots. He hit 5-7 field goal attempts and was third on the team in scoring. Rudy Fernandez led Real Madrid with 17 points while former NBA point guard Sergio Rodriguez added 14. Chicago Bulls draft pick Nikola Mirotic finished with nine points and four rebounds.

Nogueira is averaging 6.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 11 games for Estudiantes this season. He's shooting 70.5 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line. After missing most of the early part of the season due to injury, Nogueira has put together a solid stretch and has played in four straight games.
