The Atlanta Hawks are among the teams that have spoken with the Los Angeles Lakers about big men Jordan Hill and Chris Kaman according to a report by ESPN Los Angeles' Ramona Shelburne.

Both Hill and Kamen are in the final year of their deals and the Hawks have the room exception and the Disabled Player Exception to utilize in such a move.

Atlanta's frontcourt rotation has been decimated by injuries to Al Horford, Pero Antic and Gustavo Ayon. They will have one healthy center option in Elton Brand when they host the Washington Wizards Wednesday night.

Atlanta currently has 15 players on its roster but Cartier Martin's 10-day contract expires on Thursday. Coincidentally, Martin started his second straight game at small forward Wednesday night in place of DeMarre Carroll who is out with a hamstring injury. The Hawks either must sign Martin for the remainder of the season or cut him loose.

The injury situation in the frontcourt could prove to be the deciding factor in regards to Martin.
