Muscala spent a two-game stint with the Mad Ants earlier this season and averaged 13.5 points and nine rebounds while shooting 63 percent from the field.
Adreian Payne remains on D-League assignment and will suit up for the Austin Spurs Friday night as they take on the Canton Charge. Payne was the first player to utilize the NBA's new flexible assignment system. The Mad Ants are the Hawks D-League affiliate but at the time Payne was assigned, Fort Wayne had the maximum of four NBA players on its roster.
The Hawks will be the first NBA team to have two players on assignment play for different D-League affiliates on the same night.
