Adreian Payne made his Austin Spurs debut Thursday night and finished with 14 points and six rebounds in a 121-106 win over the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Payne played 18 minutes off the bench and finished 6-10 from the field and 1-2 from three-point range. He also recorded three assists to go along with three blocked shots.

JaMychal Green led the Spurs with 29 points while Bryce Cotton added 26. Manny Harris led Los Angeles with 29 points while Roscoe Smith added 26.

Payne and the Spurs are back in action on Friday when they continue their road trip with a matchup against the Santa Cruz Warriors. They are back home on Sunday to face Oklahoma City before getting a break until next Friday.

Payne's first two stints in the D-League were spent with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants but thanks to the NBA's new flexible assignment rule, he was placed with the Spurs this go around.
