John Jenkins will get the start at shooting guard for the Atlanta Hawks on Monday as they open their exhibition schedule against the New Orleans Pelicans. Jenkins will replace Kyle Korver who is away from the team due to personal reasons. Korver's wife is pregnant with the couple's second child. Joining Jenkins in the starting lineup will be Jeff Teague, DeMarre Carroll, Paul Millsap and Elton Brand.
Hawks will start Teague, Jenkins, Carroll, Millsap and Brand. Korver not available. #ATLHawks

Carroll was a question mark coming into Monday after he left Saturday's practice with an ankle injury. He went through shootaround this morning but told the AJC's Chris Vivlamore that he would test out the ankle prior to tip off. If he feels ok then he will start but if not the Hawks will be further adjusting their lineup.
Jenkins appeared in just 13 games last season before eventually opting for surgery. Mike Budenholzer recently said that Jenkins was moving well during September workouts and Jenkins said at last week's media day that he was fully recovered.
