Kyle Korver will be among the 25-30 players invited to USA Basketball's tryout camp according to a report by the AJC's Chris Vivlamore. The actual camp participants will be announced on Thursday by head coach Mike Krzyzewski and USA Basketball Chairman Jerry Colangelo.
The team will compete in Spain in the FIBA Basketball World Cup beginning on August 30. Korver's chances likely hinge on how many holdovers there are from the 2012 Olympic team combined with the 2010 FIBA World Championship team.
Korver has been a solid contributor for Atlanta averaging 12.2 points per game while being one of the most prolific shooters in the league.
