The reported signing is expected to take place on Wednesday. That would keep him in an Atlanta uniform for six more games before the contract expires.
Nunnally played in just one game with the Hawks during his first 10-day contract scoring five points in last Thursday's loss to Brooklyn in London. Nunnally received a call-up by the Hawks from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA D-League where he was averaging over 18 points a game.
By league rule, Atlanta can sign Nunnally to two 10-day contracts. At the end of the second they will have to make a decision to either sign him for the remainder of the season or cut him loose.
Update: The AJC's Chris Vivlamore also reporting that Nunnally will sign a second 10-day contract on Wednesday.
