The Bakersfield Jam have gone through some pretty serious roster turnover of late. They have added former NBA player Von Wafer to their lineup and D-League veteran JamesOn Curry. The moves haven't done much to slow down their recent struggles as the Jam have lost four of five. Subsequently Atlanta Hawks assignee Jared Cunningham has been dropped from the starting lineup for the last two games.
Bakersfield dropped a 93-85 decision to Reno on Tuesday against the Bighorns. Bakersfield was outscored 22-10 in the first quarter and never recovered. Mo Charlo led six different Bighorns in double figures with 22. Wafer led the Jam with 34 points. Cunningham played 20 minutes off the bench and finished with just four points on 2-7 shooting.

The Jam dropped their second straight on Friday falling 114-110 to the Tulsa 66ers. Bakersfield started fast in this one leading 35-22 after one. However, a 40 point fourth quarter by the 66ers proved to be the difference in a close loss for the Jam. Rodney Bartholomew and Mario Little each scored 32 points for Tulsa. Wafer poured in 34 more for the Jam including seven made threes. Cunningham finished with 12 points in 19 minutes despite going 3-11 from the field.
