D-League veteran forward Eric Dawson has accepted a training camp invite from the Atlanta Hawks according to a report by RealGM's Shams Charania. Dawson was part of Atlanta's summer league entry in Las Vegas where he averaged 3.5 points and 2.5 rebounds.

Dawson is 29 and a 6-7 forward out of Midwestern State. He went undrafted and spent five seasons playing for the Austin Toros before heading overseas last season. He earned a call up to the San Antonio Spurs during the 2012 season and appeared in four games.
The Hawks haven't made any announcements in regards to their training camp roster and likely won't for some time.
