The Atlanta Hawks have added Jim Thomas to Mike Budenholzer's coaching staff according to a team press release. Thomas spent last season as a college scout for the Oklahoma City Thunder and was with the Knicks before that.
"We're pleased to add Jim to our coaching staff," Budenholzer said. "He's been a part of a number of successful programs, and his coaching and playing experience will blend well with our group."
No announcement on what role Thomas will play with the staff. He joins new additions Quin Snyder, Darvin Ham and Taylor Jenkins along with hold over Kenny Atkinson on Budenholzer's inaugural staff.
