According to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld (USA Today) the Atlanta Hawks are nearing an agreement with Monta Ellis.

Not sure about years.</p>— Alex Kennedy (@AlexKennedyNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA/statuses/354016125912219648">July 7, 2013</a></blockquote>

He continued to say that nothing is finalized, which hopefully means this won't actually happen.

Monta Ellis would seemingly go against everything Danny Ferry has done up to this point. There was so much promise of a change towards rational, analytical thinking in the Hawks front office, and signing Monta would suggest the exact opposite is true.
We'll continue to update as more information comes through.
