Al Horford still hasn't made up his mind whether he will play for the Dominican Republic this summer in the FIBA Americas tournament in Venezuela according to TalkBasket.com's John Hobbs. Horford hasn't decided yet but will have to do so quickly because the team will begin practicing in a couple of weeks.
"I still have to make that decision and I have a couple of weeks before practice starts, so I have to decide whether or not I'm going to be participating," Horford admitted.
Charlie Villanueva has already pulled his name out of the event citing being in his contract year with the Detroit Pistons. The tournament will be held just over a month before the Atlanta Hawks are expected to open training camp.
Horford and the Dominican Republic fell just short of qualifying for the 2012 London Olympics. The Dominican Republic will be a part of Group B at the FIBA Americas along with Mexico, Argentina and Paraguay.
