The Brooklyn Nets are emerging as the favorite to land free agent three-point specialist Kyle Korver with the tax payer's mid-level exception. ESPN.com's Marc Stein quotes a rival GM that indicates Korver to Brooklyn is "in the bag."
Says one rival GM with interest in one of this summer's most coveted shooters: "Hearing Korver to Brooklyn is in the bag"

The exception that the Nets can offer Korver is approximately a one-year deal worth in the neighborhood of $3.1 million. Korver is likely to have a lot of suitors and could also potentially garner a multi-year deal from other teams including the Atlanta Hawks. However, Korver is represented by Jeff Schwartz whose other clients include Deron Williams, Paul Pierce and Nets head coach Jason Kidd and may look to play for a team that considers themselves a title contender.
Korver started 60 games for the Hawks last season and averaged 10.9 points while making 45.7 percent of his three-point attempts.
