The 2013 NBA Draft is just three weeks away and the Atlanta Hawks continue to prepare for the upcoming draft and this year's summer league entry in Las Vegas. The Hawks are not announcing what players are being invited in for workouts this offseason but we do know a pair of names that did participate this past week.

Former Missouri State forward Kyle Weems tweeted out on Thursday that he had just finished up a workout with the Hawks. Weems went undrafted in the 2012 Draft and played in Germany this past season where he averaged 12.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. His strength is as a jump shooter and is an efficient scorer although he did not shoot the three very well this season in Germany. He could be the type of wing that the Hawks are looking for this summer to participate in the Vegas Summer League.

Georgia Tech basketball coach Brian Gregory tweeted out on Friday that he was pleased to hear that Mfon Udofia's workout with the Hawks had gone well. Udofia is a local product having grown up in Stone Mountain and gone to high school at Miller Grove. He is a four year player at Georgia Tech having appeared in over 120 games for the Yellow Jackets. Udofia averaged 8.3 points and 2.9 assists during his senior season but really isn't a target to be drafted even in the second round.
