Thomas left the Tigers after his sophomore season in which he averaged 11.7 points and 4.5 rebounds. At 6-6 and 232 pounds he is a small forward prospect which is becoming a theme with these early summer league roster reports. DraftExpress ranked him 20th in this year's sophomore class and at No. 75 in their Top 100 prospects list.
Daniel is 6-7 and played power forward mostly in college where he averaged a double-double of 13.2 points and 10.0 rebounds as a senior. He is a little small for the power forward slot in the NBA and will likely be trying to convince teams that he can play the small forward slot or that his lack of height won't matter as big forward in the league.
There were initial reports that Daniel was going to play Summer League with the Houston Rockets but according to Kennedy he changed his mind and will play with the Hawks who have a little more roster uncertainty next season.
