Atlanta Hawks Schedule: Road trip ends but schedule still unforgiving

The Atlanta Hawks wrap up their six-game road trip on Monday but the schedule hardly gets easier from there.

The Atlanta Hawks will wrap up their six-game road trip on Monday in Denver on the second night of a back-to-back. As the season shifts into its latter stages, the schedule doesn't let up for the Hawks who return home on Wednesday before another back-to-back on Friday and Saturday.

First up however is a match with George Karl's Nuggets who will surely be a tough out for the Hawks who will have to deal with the Denver altitude on the second night of a back-to-back. The Nuggets have won four straight and are in the middle of the Western Conference playoff picture.

After a day off on Tuesday, the Hawks are back at Philips Arena on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers have struggled of late winning just two of their last 10 games and will be an important game for the Hawks coming off the long road trip.

The Hawks hit the road again on Friday for a nationally televised matchup against the Boston Celtics. Atlanta and Boston have split both meetings this season. Atlanta will close out the week on Saturday against Joe Johnson and the Brooklyn Nets.

Here is a closer look at the upcoming schedule for the Atlanta Hawks:

Monday, March 4 - Hawks at Nuggets - 9 p.m. ET

Wednesday, March 6 - Sixers at Hawks - 7:30 p.m. ET

Friday, March 8 - Hawks at Celtics - 8 p.m. ET

Saturday, March 9 - Nets at Hawks - 7 p.m. ET
