In many ways the season for the Atlanta Hawks has resembled a roller coaster ride full of peaks and valleys along the way. After a slow start Wednesday night, Atlanta kicked it into high gear to come away with a 107-88 win over the Toronto Raptors and clinched a spot in the NBA Playoffs for the sixth straight season.

Atlanta came out of the gate slowly and appeared to have sleep walked their way to a 54-44 deficit at the half. They erased that 10 point deficit in the third quarter and outscored the Raptors 32-13 in the fourth to cruise home to the victory.

Al Horford led the way for Atlanta scoring 20 of his game-high 26 points in the second half to go along with 12 rebounds. Jeff Teague was equally impressive keeping the Hawks above water in the first half and helping slam the door late with 24 points and 13 assists. Josh Smith added 19 points while Ivan Johnson and John Jenkins finished with nine each. The Hawks made 49 percent of their field goal attempts in the game including 56 percent shooting in the second half.

Jonas Valanciunas led the Raptors with 19 points and eight rebounds. Rudy Gay logged a double-double in his return from injury with 15 points and 12 boards. DeMar DeRozan added 14 while Terrence Ross and Alan Anderson also finished in double figures with 13 and 12 respectively.

Atlanta will wrap up its four-game road trip in Boston on Friday night.
