The Atlanta Hawks will reportedly assign second round draft pick Mike Scott to the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League for the second time this season.

The timing is perfect for the Hawks who are in the midst of a western road trip. The Jam play at Los Angeles on Saturday and are at home against the Defenders on Sunday. After Friday's game against Phoenix, Atlanta will move on to Los Angeles for the season's first meeting with the Lakers.
Scott has a four game stint with the Jam back in December and averaged 13.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Larry Drew hasn't found much playing time for Scott of late and with the team already on the west coast this is as good a time as any to send down Scott and let him get in some work.
