Jeff Teague will take part in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge as part of All-Star Saturday night during the NBA's All-Star Weekend. Teague will be the lone player representing the Atlanta Hawks during the weekend.
The Skills Challenge is a two-round timed event as players navigate through an obstacle course. The course tests a player's ball handling as well as passing ability. Teague will compete against defending champ Tony Parker as well as Jrue Holiday, Brandon Knight, Damian Lillard and Jeremy Lin.
Teague has been playing really well of late and is averaging 14.1 points and a career-high 6.8 assists while shooting 45 percent from the field. Teague is the only Hawks player that has appeared in all 48 of the team's games this season.
Other events that will be held on Saturday night are the Foot Locker three-point contest, the Sears Shooting Stars contest and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.
All-Star Saturday will be held on February 16 beginning at 8 p.m. and can be seen on TNT.
