The Atlanta Hawks did make one deal prior to Thursday's deadline as they sent Anthony Morrow to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Dahntay Jones.

Things never worked out for Morrow in Atlanta as he struggled to find his way into the rotation while also battling numerous injuries. Morrow had appeared in 24 games for the Hawks but has been out of the rotation since returning from a hip/back injury that sidelined him for 17 games. He is averaging 5.2 points on the season.
Jones has appeared in 50 games for the Mavericks averaging just under 13 minutes per contest. He is making $2.9 million this season and will be a free agent this offseason so the deal does not affect Atlanta's cap room for next season. Jones was averaging 3.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game with the Mavericks.
