Dennis Schröder led seven players scoring in double figures for the Bakersfield Jam as they defeat the L.A. D-Fenders for the second straight night 110-108.

The game was tight throughout and the D-Fenders jumped out to a 31-29 lead after one. The D-Fenders stretched the lead to as many as nine in the second but would end the half with just a three point cushion at 59-56. It was more of the same in the third as Los Angeles again stretched the lead to nine but strong performances from Atlanta's John Jenkins and James Nunnally kept the Jam close. The fourth quarter was nip and tuck which set up an exciting finish for the Jam.

With the game tied 108-108 the D-Fenders' Ryan Kelly had his turnaround attempt blocked by Damion James with just 4.3 seconds left. The Jam advanced the ball with a timeout and inbounded the ball deep into the post to Brian Butch who missed his first attempt but corralled the rebound and hit the fall away shot as the game clock expired giving the Jam the win.

Schröder's 21 points came on 7-11 shooting to go along with four rebounds and four assists. He was 6-9 from the free throw line. Jenkins finished with 20 but was held scoreless in the fourth quarter. He finished 6-15 from the field and 3-9 from deep but did grab 11 rebounds and hand out six assists. James Nunnally added 19 points and Mac Koshwal finished with 12. Butch logged another double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Kelly led the way for the defenders with 30 points. NBA vet Kareem Rush added 17 while Josh Magette finished with 16.

The Jam are back in action on Tuesday when they host the Santa Cruz Warriors for the first of two game series that concludes on Thursday. Bakersfield then heads to Reno for a pair of games over the weekend.
