Kyle Korver's admitted to being nervous about his streak over the last two games but finally has the NBA record for consecutive games with a made three-pointer all to himself. Korver's first quarter three on Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers extended his streak to 90 straight games passing Dana Barros.
It's interesting that Korver admitted to being nervous. If you have had the opportunity to get out to the arena early and observe Korver's warm up routine, it's calculated and robotic. It never varies so it's a little refreshing to know that he was slightly affected by the attention.
Korver predictably credited his teammates for the streak that began in his second regular season game in a Hawks uniform. If you remember back to the 2012 season, Korver went 0-2 from deep in the season opening loss to the Houston Rockets and then was 1-5 in a road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
